I know that this buttermilk pie looks rather boring but I promise you, it’s delicious! I just made it for the second time with this recipe from Food Network Mag.
I substituted the regular buttermilk with fat free buttermilk, and went without the lemon and nutmeg (personal choice). I also used a frozen pie shell that you can buy right in the grocery store rather than making one from scratch. It’s about 15-20 minutes of prep time, then the rest is just baking (45-50 minutes).
